Gentle start and speed limiter circuit

The gentle start and speed limiter circuit is a standard feature on all BATEC ELECTRIC and BATEC URBAN 2018 models. It is available for BATEC ELECTRIC and BATEC URBAN models manufactured prior to that as an add-on. Check compatibility and installation.

COMPATIBILITY

The gentle start and speed limiter circuit is compatible with BATEC ELECTRIC 2014 and BATEC URBAN models from before January 2018. It is not compatible with BATEC RAPID and BATEC HYBRID models. The system must be installed on these models by an official service center or authorized distributor.

COMPATIBLE WITH 99% OF WHEELCHAIRS

Every user chooses the wheelchair that best suits them in term of needs and preferences. This is why at Batec Mobility we've created the BATEC DOCKING-BAR (Pat. Pend.), which, thanks to its modular design makes it possible to install a Batec add-on handbike on 99% of wheelchairs sold on the market. This means it adapts to all kinds of tubes and types of chair, whether folding or fixed frame, with integrated or removable footrests, and all kinds of sizes. Some wheelchair manufacturers have now started to offer wheelchairs that incorporate a welded BATEC DOCKING-BAR (Pat. Pend.) for attaching a Batec add-on handbike. Currently, Wolturnus, GTM, PER4MAX are some of the brands that offer this possibility. Our Batec Compatibility Chart allows you to check the list of compatible wheelchairs with our handbikes, which we keep updated on a daily basis. If your wheelchair is not included, do not hesitate to contact us and we will look into including it.
